Kid sister, it seems, is heading off to France for 3 months. The excuse is something to do with her studies, although I am a little unsure how much work will be done.

Studying the french art of imbibing grape derived liquids, perhaps?
Yes, I've heard of that special French grape juice stuff, I believe it comes in both red and white, and you can also get fizzy, although I am not sure that's wise on a student budget.
